There’s probably no need to introduce you to the famous and luxurious Palace Four Seasons George V in Paris, known for its amazing lobby with unique and prestigious flower creations by Jeff Leatham.
If you are visiting Paris, and want to indulge with a little lunch or dinner madness, I have the perfect place for you: L’Orangerie
Located in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world and opened only since 2016, this very intimate restaurant (it has only 20 seats) is located under a 7 meter high glass roof. It faces George, the hotel’s Italian restaurant on the other side of the Palace’s marble courtyard.
The chef of the house, David Bizet, takes the lead in the kitchen and offers contemporary French cuisine that is both aesthetic and tasty. As for the decoration, it was Pierre-Yves Rochon who imagined it with a very beautiful mosaic on the ground and huge lanterns by Lalique.
I really feasted in a very intimate atmosphere, and here are my recommendations:
Appetizer: The marinated bar Carpaccio is a pure marvel
Main course: The roasted blue lobster will astound you visually, as it is a real work of art before your eyes, but it will also be a wonder in mouth.
And to conclude, I highly recommend the Fleur de Vacherin, which in addition to being delicious looks just lovely.
Obviously it will cost you a small budget but for a beautiful occasion, the address is really worth the try.
