During my last stay in Dubai, I had the chance to spend two days in the desert for the first time in my life. Only 40 minutes from downtown Dubai and the airport, I definitely had that feeling about the BAB AL SHAMS
In the middle of the desert, nestled in the dunes of Dubai, this resort is a true temple of excess! As is anything in Dubai … Everything is designed, engineered and assembled to make you feel like you are in the middle the world of Arabian Nights with a unique atmosphere: infinity pools in the sand, spa, palm trees everywhere, camels etc …
Take time to stroll around the hotel. It is full of mysterious places and numerous shaded courtyards.
I booked a Superior room. Not very big but very unique! Especially the bathroom which I loved!
A couple suggestions to make your stay unforgettable:
· Book a sunset camel ride
· Take time to enjoy a cocktail and smoke a hooka at « AL SARAB ROOFTOP LOUNGE » in the afternoon
· Enjoy diner at AL Hadheerah (amazing live show / diner place)
